Our Editing And Proofreading Process


We cater to authors, researchers, students, professionals, and businesses. Be sure to select the user type that best describes you, as we use this to pair your work with the best proofreader for your writing.


During the upload process, we’ll ask you for basic information to ensure we match your document to the most suitable editor. You’ll also choose the English dialect and your ideal return time (see more below), as well as providing any information we may find useful in completing your work. We can accept .DOC and .DOCX file formats automatically through our system. For any other formats, simply email us your work.

Timing And Deadlines

With our Next-Day Guarantee, we’ll return all documents under 10,000 words within 24 hours. If you need your work in half that time, simply add our Express Service at checkout.


Our prices are calculated by the document word count, meaning you’ll only pay for the number of words you submit. We use Stripe as our payment provider, and we accept all major credit and debit cards. To make future payments super simple, your payment information will be tokenised. If this isn’t something you want, no worries! You have the option to disable this feature.

Proofreader Pairing

We assign your work to the most suitable proofreader by using your selected user type and unique document specifications. If you liked a proofreader previously assigned to your work, please provide us with your previous document details, and we can allocate your work to that individual by default.

Proofreading And Editing

Once your work has been professionally proofread, our experienced QA team will review the quality of the edit before returning it to you. When our Formatting Service is selected, your document will be formatted in accordance with any specifications you provided during the submission process.


Once your work has been reviewed, we’ll send you an email and you’ll be able to download your work from your user area. Here, you can download a track changes and a clean copy of your document. This will allow you to view every edit made and either accept or reject changes according to your preferences.

Receipt And Certificate

We also provide a receipt of purchase and a certificate of proofreading, which are often required within academic establishments and businesses. You can download these from your user area.
